Natchez, Mississippi, county seat of Adams County, is situated on a 300-foot bluff that offers a spectacular view of the Mississippi River. US Highways 61, 84, and 98 intersect in Natchez, connecting the city with Memphis, Baton Rouge and Mobile. Interstate 55 is 60 miles east of Natchez via four-lane US Highway 84.
The historic Natchez Trace Parkway offers a no trucks, no billboards approach to the city. The Natchez Trace is a national park highway that began over 8,000 years ago as an animal trail and Indian route. The Trace, a 450-mile scenic route, originates in Natchez and connects the city with Jackson, the state capital. The Trace ends in Nashville, Tennessee.

From Baton Rouge, LA: Approximately 90 miles. Take Hwy 61N to Natchez. Turn West onto John R. Junkin Drive (Hwy 84W). About 1.5 miles to Canal St. Turn right on Canal (at Natchez Visitor's Center), then five blocks - right onto State Street. Two blocks to Pearl St. Turn left on Pearl - one block to Eola, on your left.
From Jackson, MS: Approximately 103 miles. Take I-55 South to Brookhaven, MS; exit Hwy 84 (exit 38) to Natchez. Follow Business 84 (becomes St. Catherine) to Martin Luther King. Turn left on M L King - one block to Main St. Turn right on Main - four blocks to Pearl St. Turn right for Pearl St entrance.
From Louisiana Highway 84: Cross the Mississippi River Bridge from Vidalia, Louisiana. Turn left at the first traffic light (Canal Street). About 5 blocks to State Street. Turn right at traffic light on State. Go 2 blocks to Pearl Street. Turn left. Hotel is on your left at next traffic light - one block.
